Terms of Service

These terms govern the use of the ShoppersJet platform, run by ShoppersJet Inc ("ShoppersJet", "we", "us"), by merchants and by the shoppers and diners who buy from them. By using the service you agree to them.

The service

ShoppersJet provides online stores, point of sale, ordering, customer management and messaging tools. Merchants are responsible for the products they sell, their prices, their stores' content and how they treat their customers.

Accounts

Keep your log-in details secure and tell us about any unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Acceptable use

• Don't use the service for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful.
• Don't send messages to people who have not agreed to receive them, or after they opt out.
• Don't interfere with the service or other users' access to it.

SMS messaging terms

Merchants on ShoppersJet can send text messages to their customers: order updates and, for customers who agreed, marketing messages such as offers, new menu items and events.

• Consent: you receive marketing texts only if you agreed to them, for example when giving your number at a store. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
• Frequency: message frequency varies by merchant.
• Cost: message and data rates may apply.
• Opt out: reply STOP to any message to stop texts from that merchant. You will get one confirmation and no further marketing texts.
• Help: reply HELP, or email mhaque@shoppersjet.com.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Merchants must collect and record consent before sending marketing texts and honour opt-outs. How we handle phone numbers is described in the Privacy Policy.

Payments

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers under their own terms. Merchants pay ShoppersJet subscription and usage fees as agreed in their plan.

Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, ShoppersJet is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the fees paid to us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. We may suspend accounts that break them. Merchants may close their account at any time.
