Privacy Policy

ShoppersJet Inc ("ShoppersJet", "we", "us") runs an online commerce platform that stores and restaurants ("merchants") use to sell online and in person, manage customers and send messages to them. This policy explains what personal information we handle, why, and the choices you have.

Who this policy covers

• Merchants and their staff who use the ShoppersJet dashboard and point of sale.
• Shoppers and diners who buy from a merchant on a ShoppersJet store, or whom a merchant adds as a customer.
• Visitors to shoppersjet.com.

When a merchant collects your information to sell to you or message you, the merchant decides how it is used and we process it on the merchant's behalf.

Information we collect

• Contact details: name, email address, phone number and delivery address.
• Order and payment details: items bought, amounts and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment processors; we do not store full card numbers.
• Marketing preferences: whether you agreed to receive marketing emails or text messages, and when you opted out.
• Account and usage data: log-in details, device and browser information and how the service is used.

How we use it

• To provide the service: process orders, payments, deliveries and receipts.
• To send the messages you asked for, including order updates and, where you agreed, marketing from the merchant.
• To keep the service secure, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations.
• To support merchants and improve the platform.

Text messages (SMS)

Merchants can send text messages through ShoppersJet to customers who agreed to receive them. Marketing texts are sent only to people who gave consent. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from that merchant, or HELP for help.

We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, except the SMS carriers and messaging providers that deliver the messages.

Sharing

We share personal information only with:

• The merchant you buy from or who added you as a customer.
• Service providers that run the platform for us: hosting, payments, email and SMS delivery, shipping and customer support, under contracts that limit their use of the data.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

We do not sell personal information.

Cookies

We use cookies needed to sign in, keep a cart and remember settings, and basic analytics to understand how the site is used. You can block cookies in your browser; some features may then stop working.

Retention and security

We keep personal information while it is needed for the purposes above or as the law requires, then delete or anonymise it. We protect it with encryption in transit, access controls and monitoring.

Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe from marketing emails with the link in any email, and from texts by replying STOP.
• Ask the merchant, or us, to see, correct or delete your information.
• Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law.

Children

The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
